IMPORTANT: Please ensure that your EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) is valid when you travel. The first ones issued have now expired. To renew, phone 0845 606 2030. It's best to have your old one handy, but you can renew the whole family's cards with one phone call & they arrive by post a few days later.
